If you're a student at UCLA interested in pursuing a career in journalism, where do you go to learn the job skills you'll need and get the experience recruiters are looking for? Student Media is the answer for you. We offer a variety of media experiences, including the nationally recognized Daily Bruin newspaper and DBTV videojournalism program, seven community-oriented newsmagazines, UCLARadio.com and the Bruinlife yearbook.

If you come to work with us, we will teach you everything you need to know about reporting, writing, design, photojournalism and numerous other journalistic specialties, and then you and your peers will get to work producing the media that serve our campus public.

Even if you're not interested in pursuing a journalism career, Student Media is a great place to find your campus niche, meet new people, and learn the universally relevant skills of communicating effectively, working with a team, managing your time effectively and building leadership.
